For my wife’s business trip, I went to Haneda Airport to see her off.

It has passed middle of April, Golden week holidays in May is getting closer.
Everyone may busy with business, personal life in these days I guess.
My wife also needs to go provincial city on her business trip in this time.

“Is there any people who doesn’t like traveling?”

This is the phrase what Israeli guy said to me when I traveled in Australia before.
Surely each person has different opinion, but I love traveling as well, so I could understand what his meaning.
Unfortunately, this time is only for seeing off…

However, I still like the atmosphere of the airport!
I get excited even just heading to the airport!
There are many transport accesses to Haneda airport, such as trains and monorails, but this time I headed to Haneda airport by bus.

Access to Haneda airport by bus

Until a while ago, I thought train is the best way to access to the airport, since the number of train is large and it arrives comparatively quickly.
However, I often use the bus to go to either Haneda airport or Narita airport these days.
Because it is very convenient as you can depart from and arrive to a big station such as a terminal or a famous hotel. Also they can keep baggage, moreover it is very confortable as you can take a seat if you use a bus.
The price will be a bit higher than using train, but I headed to the airport by limousine bus this time.
It was raining and pretty rough weather on this day, so I thought the bus might be delay, but we could arrive at the airport without any problem.

Breakfast at Haneda Airport

I went to see my wife off to Haneda Airport Terminal 1 this time, we decided to go earlier and have breakfast unhurriedly.
When we came to Haneda Airport last time, we ate “breakfast ochazuke(=boiled rice in soup) set”, but we wanted to have a breakfast in a scenic place this time, so we went up to upper floor with an elevator, and having a breakfast in a restaurant where the scenery looks good.

It seemed reasonable price range.

We entered a restaurant named “Royal Deli” which located in 4th floor.
The taste was good for morning in the airport, and it was also nice they have a self-service drink area.
There was about 2 hours until the departure time of the plane. The restaurant is not too small, and I can have a coffee with relaxing, so I was satisfied with the meal.

Hot Ham, Cheese, and Egg Sandwich. Cheese was melting, so nice!

French Toast. The taste is not too sweet, not tired of eating.

When I talk about airport next time, I wish I could talk about going abroad!
I wish such a day will come soon.
